The Brattleboro Literary Festival is a premier annual celebration of authors, books, and readers held in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont. Established in 2002, the festival famously kicked off its inaugural year with the final public appearance of Nobel laureate Saul Bellow. It takes place this year over the weekend of October 16-17, intentionally aligning with Vermont’s peak fall foliage season to offer a scenic back-drop for attendees walking between iconic downtown venues.
